Have you ever tried bibimbap,

one of Korea’s most iconic dishes?

nikolay-smeh-gPpbFaEkl00-unsplash_edited

A bowl of warm rice, topped with a variety of ingredients,
finished with a spoonful of gochujang (Korean chili paste),
then mixed together to create a perfect harmony of flavors.

My 1:1 lesson is just like that.

Speaking, grammar, TOPIK prep, free talking, or culture topics—
pick only what you need right now,
and let’s build a lesson that’s truly yours.

Just like bibimbap,
where every ingredient comes together beautifully,
this class blends your goals and learning style
into one delicious, personalized experience.😉

🥢 Choose Your Ingredients (Your Lesson Options)

Just like choosing your favorite toppings for bibimbap,
here are the lesson ingredients you can mix and match.

Pick one, two, or mix them all—this is your class!

(Don’t worry—we’ll discuss what works best for you!)

🗣️ Free Talking

(Topic-based Conversation)

Practice speaking naturally through conversations about familiar topics, current events, or daily life. Great for fluency and confidence!

💬 Speaking Training

A focused speaking class with guided practice.
Includes short grammar tips, speaking prompts, and useful vocabulary lists to support you.

🎬 Korean Culture & K-Drama Class

Study Korean through your favorite dramas!
We’ll read scripts, learn expressions from real scenes, and talk about the cultural context behind them.

📚 Beginner Essentials

Perfect for beginners who want a solid foundation.
We’ll practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking together to build all-around skills.

✍️ TOPIK Writing

Preparing for TOPIK II (Level 3 and above)?
I’ll help you understand question types, master useful sentence patterns, and improve your writing with feedback and corrections.

How Does This Work?

My 1:1 class is designed to fit your goals and pace.
You can choose just one style of lesson,
or combine a few options in a way that makes the most sense for you.

Your lesson, your way. Here's how you can customize it.

🔄 Mix Within One Lesson

Example:

🕒 60-minute lesson

  • 30 minutes: Speaking Training
(focused drills with grammar tips and vocabulary)

  • 30 minutes: Free Talking
(casual conversation based on what we practiced)

This works well if you want both structured practice and natural conversation in one session.

📦 Mix Within a Lesson Package

Example:
🧾 5-lesson package

  • 3 lessons: Beginner Course (step-by-step grammar, reading, listening, writing)

  • 2 lessons: Free Talking to review and apply what you learned

This approach is great for learners who want a balance between theory and practice.

🔒 Structured Lessons Stay Consistent

Some lessons are best taken on their own for effective learning.

Beginner Essentials is recommended as a stand-alone course,
since it already includes speaking drills, review exercises, and all the essential skills in one.

TOPIK Writing can be mixed within a package—
for example, 3 lessons for writing and 2 for review or conversation practice.
But it’s not ideal to combine with other styles in a single 1-hour session,
as it needs focused time for feedback and writing practice.

**Please note that if you choose to combine different types of lessons, the fee will be charged according to the higher-priced option.

💬 Not Sure What to Choose?

Of course, you can simply choose one lesson style and stick with it!

No worries! I’ll help you decide based on:

✔️ Your current level
✔️ Your learning goals
✔️ Your available time
✔️ Your interests!

👩🏻‍🏫 About the Teacher

2,700+ One-on-One Lessons

I’ve taught 2,703 one-on-one Korean lessons so far.
With one year of offline teaching and three years of online experience,
I’ve had the chance to try a wide variety of lesson styles and teaching approaches.

Tried Many Styles, Kept What Works

Over the past four years,
I’ve adapted my classes based on student needs and requests.
From all those experiences, I’ve selected only the most effective and popular lesson types to offer you now.

Certified Korean Teacher

I majored in Korean Language Education for Foreigners
and hold a teaching certification, which means I’m trained to provide professional, structured lessons designed specifically for non-native speakers.

Global Experience, Korean-Focused Lessons

I’ve worked with students from North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and all over Asia. Thanks to that experience, I teach mostly in Korean—about 80% of the class is conducted in Korean,
so even students who don’t speak much English can still learn effectively and get more chances to speak and listen in Korean.

A Teacher Who Feels Like a Friend

Students often tell me that my personality feels calm, friendly, and easy to talk to. Because I’m someone who naturally adjusts to others,
many learners feel like they’re studying with a friend—
and that’s something I truly value.
