Let’s review "몇" and "얼마" expressions together with some examples and a quick quiz.

1. Key Points

• 몇 + noun = "how many + noun" 몇 살 (how old), 몇 개 (how many items), 몇 일 (how many days), 몇 사람 (how many people), 몇 번 (how many times)

• 얼마 / 얼마나 얼마 = price (how much) 얼마나 = time, distance, amount (how long, how much)

2. Practice with Examples

• 몇 살이에요?(How old are you?)

• 사과 몇 개 샀어요?(How many apples did you buy?)

• 여기까지 오는데 몇 일 걸려요?(How many days does it take to get here?)

• 몇 명이에요? / 몇 사람이에요? (or 몇 명 왔어요?)(How many people came?)

• 이 수업을 몇 번 들어야 돼요?(How many times do I have to take this lesson?)

• 이거 얼마예요?(How much is this?)

• 집까지 얼마나 걸려요?(How long does it take to get home?)
