Q. What's the difference between "-밖에" and "-만"?



-밖에 = "only" (used with negative expressions)

-만 = "only" (neutral, can be used in positive or negative sentences)


📌 Examples for -밖에:

  1. 돈이 천 원밖에 없어요. (I only have 1,000 won.)

  2. 시간은 한 시간밖에 없어요. (I only have one hour.)

📌 Examples for -만:

  1. 나는 책만 읽었어요. (I only read a book.)

  2. 오늘은 커피만 마셨어요. (I only drank coffee today.)

💡 Tip:

  • "-밖에" is used with a negative verb.

  • "-만" can be used in both positive and negative sentences. 😊
